Leider kam ganz am Ende, als ich noch 15 km zu fahren hatte, ein Stein vom überholenden Auto und schlug einen Stein in die Frontscheibe. Aus diesem Grund hat die Person, die das Auto genommen hat, 140 GEL (in Dollar) statt 300 GEL zurückgegeben.

Aber es hat das Fahren nicht beeinträchtigt. Die Übergabe des Autos am letzten Tag unseres Urlaubs verlief ebenfalls reibungslos.

For the city and short loops
If the plan is Kutaisi and surroundings (Gelati, Bagrati, Sataplia, Tskaltubo), any automatic saloon will do. Toyota Corolla, Ford Fusion, Hyundai Sonata — the typical pick in this segment. The climbs to the monasteries are short, and there are no serious mountain switchbacks nearby.

For Svaneti and longer drives
