Es sollte erwähnt werden, dass uns gesagt wurde (und wir schriftliche Verträge hatten), dass das Auto voll versichert war. Er hat an jeder möglichen Stelle gelogen, angefangen bei der Agentur. Er sagte ihnen, dass wir irgendwo verbotenerweise hingefahren sind und das Auto kaputt gemacht haben. Sie haben das ohne zu zögern gekauft, ohne sich um unsere Navigationsdaten zu kümmern. Er log über den Abschleppdienst, dass wir sein Auto verloren hätten. Wir haben für die Evakuierung bezahlt und er bekam sein Auto, aber er ließ uns glauben, dass das Auto verloren war. Wir vereinbarten ein Treffen um Mitternacht, 7 Stunden vor unserem Rückflug. Er brachte uns mit seinem Freund in eine Sackgasse und drohte uns, wir sollten für seinen Automotor bezahlen. Wir waren gezwungen zu versprechen, zum Geldautomaten zu gehen und ihm 500usd zu zahlen. Am Geldautomaten schloss er unser Gepäck im Kofferraum ein. Wir riefen die Polizei. Nachdem die Polizei kam, bekamen wir die Bestätigung, dass Irakli sein Auto bekommen hatte, aber uns darüber belogen hatte. Wir haben keine Ahnung, wie das Gespräch zwischen ihm und der Polizei verlaufen ist, aber am Ende haben wir diese 500 bezahlt, nur um unseren Flug zu erreichen. Dieser Autohändler ist ein Betrüger und man sollte ihm bei keiner Art von Geschäft vertrauen.

If the plan is Kutaisi and surroundings (Gelati, Bagrati, Sataplia, Tskaltubo), any automatic saloon will do. Toyota Corolla, Ford Fusion, Hyundai Sonata — the typical pick in this segment. The climbs to the monasteries are short, and there are no serious mountain switchbacks nearby.
